Liz & Kelly’s St. Patrick’s Day Milltown Wedding was our first wedding of 2018! It’s been a few months, (obviously we are a few photo shoots behind), but I always treasure my first wedding of each year! Liz & Kelly, with the help of their amazing planner, Nancy, found ways to make their day uniquely tailored to who they are as a couple. From the guest house they rented so their friends could stay close by, to the green champagne they served to their guests they had an unforgettable day!
I have enjoyed every moment working with these two! They have had to do SO much of the wedding prep long distance from each other, but are always so upbeat and excited about the big plans! On the wedding day, they were completely inseparable! During prep, walking through the venue before the ceremony and into the reception they were by each other all day long!
They chose to do a first look, which allowed us to get their portraits done before the ceremony, and even though it was an oddly humid day, we were able to get up to the bridge in-between trips inside for air-conditioning to get some portraits there too!
After portraits, we cooled off a bit before their ceremony! Their ceremony was gorgeous; right along the water, and they were married by a close friend. Right afterwards, they had cocktail hour and family photos, with enough time to visit with guests before their grand entrance.
During the ceremony, we were able to do a controlled exit! Liz and Kelly decided on LED balloons! We weren’t sure how is was going to work out, but it turned out beautiful! Their reception was an absolute PARTY! So fun and lively! It was such a pleasure to be a part of such a gorgeous wedding with these two amazing woman!!
